We all know that there is something fundamentally wrong with our education system, and yet nothing is being done about it. For years now I've thought it was because they didn't care. However I have come to realize that in fact they can NOT see what to do, or even what is wrong. The truth is that the problem is what we teach. To clarify, I am referring to the fact that we teach are kids to remember; facts, dates, and names. Not how to think for them self's, how can we expect them to meet the ever expanding demands of the world? when from the beginning of there education all we ask of them is to remember certain facts for just long enough to pass a test.
